EFL Water Efficiency Study Report

During 2004 and 2005, Masco’s Environments for Living® (EFL) program developed a new top-tier to their high performance program, the Diamond Class. The new Diamond Class includes performance criteria for water efficiency, criteria investigated during and developed in large part from a Masco detailed water consumption study of four new homes. This Masco EFL report is a summary of the study design and monitoring results from this project. 3-D Building Solutions worked with Masco throughout the development of their new Diamond Class and its criteria, and authored this summary report on residential water efficiency.
